Dog not eating food and vomiting.?

I'm not sure of the answer to your exact question, but I believe that if you change a dog's food it takes them awhile to adjust. My dog has refused to eat some foods, and vomited after I changed her food. I would try to remember if this started after you changed his food and if so switch back to what he was eating after the surgery. Hope I may have helped a little.
