I have an old postcards of my grandad with his name on and a war name but cant spell it runingyth looks like??

it has a picture of a soldier and in paris with the eiffel tower but cant make the proper name of war or battle all i can see is RUNNGYTH>?? CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THE PROPER NAME OF IT PLEASE???
