Vicky is correct. An opk is simply a predictor not a guarantee,, and a positive will tell you that you might ovulate within the next 12 to 36 hours. If you took it after that surge, you won't get a positive. But nothing except a temperature chart, blood test or ultrasound will tell you difinitively.
