Wedding centerpieces using paper lanterns?

I am thinking about using paper lanterns for my centerpieces in a ballroom. I was only planning on placing a flameless votive or tealight inside the lantern. I wanted to use the round lanterns as they are more cost effective. Does anyone know if they would sit well on a table or have any pictures?
