Feel bad quitting job after maternity leave..help?

Sounds like you are better off quiting. Just talk to your supervisor and tell him/her exactly what you wrote. Everything you wrote sounds very reasonable and are all good excuses to quit. I agree with the first person who says you may just want to go ahead and stay home or just work a part-time job to cover the daycare expenses if you want some time out to yourself. That is, if you can afford that. Right now I work part-time and make just enough to pay daycare and some bills. It is great to get out a few days, but also wonderful to stay home with my son the other part of it. :)
