Should I include copyright information on a postcard that features the work of an artist?

I'm trying to decide whether to include a copyright symbol on a postcard that features the drawing of an artist. The postcard is an invitation to the opening show for the artist. I'm worried that if the postcard features a well printed artwork someone might take advantage and scan the postcard. What should I do? Thanks.
